Jason Wilson became the Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of American Fork Hospital on January 4, 2016.
 
Wilson is a successful hospital administrator and strong leader. He joined Intermountain Healthcare in 2002 as the Administrative Fellow where he supported operational improvements throughout the organization. One year later, he was selected as the assistant administrator of Intermountain’s Cedar City Hospital where he helped move the hospital to its present location. In 2007, he became the hospital’s administrator and CEO where he served for eight years.
 
Under his leadership, Cedar City Hospital was named to Truven Health Analytics Top 100 Hospitals in the nation and recognized among the top community hospitals in the country by Consumer Reports, Health Insight, and Cleverly + Associates.
 
Wilson was named the 2012 Young Health Care Executive of the Year for the State of Utah by the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has served as chair of the Rural Hospital Committee of the Utah Hospital Association, chair of the Utah Summer Games, and board member of the Children’s Justice Center.
 
He received a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in health care administration from the University of Washington in St. Louis, Missouri. He spent two years working in administration at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis before joining Intermountain Healthcare.
 
He loves skiing and mountain biking, as well as spending time at the family ranch near Payson,Utah. Wilson and his wife, Sondra, have four daughters.
