Here is a little bit about Utah Valley to help you get situated with who we are, as well as some practical information for when you come to visit. Utah Valley is a place that will capture your heart as soon as you come around the point of the mountain into Lehi or drive along I-15, with stunning views of the mountains in the east.
The highest points are Mt. Nebo at 11,928 feet and Mt. Timpanogos at 11,750 feet. The lowest points are the depression in the Jordan River Flood Plain at 4,480 feet and the Jordan River at Jordan Narrow at 4,490 feet. Utah Valley has all four seasons with about 5 snow-free months. The climate is dry continental, with warm summers and cold winters. The temperature ranges from 39°F to 92°F. In mountain areas, expect the temperature to be about 20 degrees cooler.
Utah County is located in North Central Utah. It is called Utah Valley because mountains frame the county on both sides. The major cities form a 40-mile chain from north to south (Santaquin to Lehi), aligning with Interstate 15.
