This camp is designed for teens who want to learn how to sing and perform in a cappella groups—whether you're brand new or already love singing with others. Throughout the week, participants will build essential skills including vocal technique, blending, harmonizing, rhythm, and stage presence. Campers will also be introduced to vocal percussion (beatboxing), arranging basics, and how to find and hold their part in a group setting. Each day includes hands-on group rehearsals, sectionals, and coaching from experienced collegiate-level performers. Students will work in small ensembles to apply what they learn in a real group setting—culminating in a final performance for family and friends. By the end of the week, campers won’t just understand a cappella—they’ll have experienced what it takes to be part of a tight, confident, and expressive vocal group. They will perform at the Batschi Vocals Recital on August 8.
